Mobile numbers are not 13 digits. It’s untrue

Dear viewers.

I am seeing there are lots of news spreading across social networks that soon our mobile numbers going to be 13 digits.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) sent circular to all mobile networks to change existing m2m numbers to 13 digits. It’s 100% true. It’s only for m2m devices. Not for our regular mobile numbers.

So our mobile numbers stays 10 digits as of now.

Then what is m2m devices? The sim cards used in swiping machines, POS devices, cars will now have 13 digits.
